I did another apple drawing. I know, sounds boring. At first I thought "Oh, I like drawing on the iPad so why don't I just do that?" So I went to the app Sketchbook Pro and found the amazing tool of time-lapse. I tried it out a few times, to make sure it was what I wanted. This wasn't an original challenge but I was able to get it to be one. I first started with looking at pictures and drawings of apples, I even saved a few. Just in case. Then I got to drawing! It took me a few tries to get the right shape and color to start but then I got it. There were parts that the time-lapse didn't work so there were little chunks missing. After I was about halfway, I put all the little clips together in iMovie. When I watched it there were some confusing parts where I was zoomed in and you couldn't tell what was going on. After I was all finished with my zoom, erase, zoom, color struggles, I put all of the three-second clips together to get almost two minutes, of an apple. I had to add voice-over narration and put it on the lovely YouTube!! I was actually really surprised that I made something that didn't look like a kids finger painting. I think that if I had to redo something it would be the the shadows, I didn't really like them. This is pretty much based off of the original apple drawing. I don't really know why I like drawing apple, I don't even like apples so why do I like to draw them.
| Okay, this is my entire video of my apple, it is really long and a lot of it is just me erasing the shadow, re drawing, and back to erasing again. |
And this is what I finished with! I was actually really proud of myself because I've never drawn something like this whee its supposed to look real!
